A man´s wardrobe should include these basic dress shoe colors there is no exception! Starting with the basics of a shoe color wardrobe, as this is the foundation, to give you the freedom, choice and class in wearing a good looking shoe every time, No matter what you may choose to wear.
Most Common Mens Dress Shoes
- Black Dress Shoes - Will work with most suits. But I would not recommend wearing it with anything in the blue family. If you do not have a nice pair of dress shoes that are not scuffed up and in decent shape I would recommend getting a black pair first
- Burgundy Dress Shoes - Can coordinate with black, brown and even tan as long as you have a burgundy-toned belt, shirt or tie.
- Cordovan Dress Shoes - This shoe color works best with navy and grey suits.
- Brown Dress Shoes - Is a warmer toned shoe that looks the best with tan or brown slacks, even khakis. But will work with almost any earth tone shade.
- Chestnut Dress Shoes - Is a richer shade of brown that resembles a deep wood grain tone. This classic mens dress shoe looks great with woven, tweed, or even silk fabrics, in all earth tone colors.
- White Dress Shoes - a quality, white leather dress shoes can really set off a nice suit! It can pull an all white suit with any color of dress shirt together very easily for you. It is also a great looking "accent" shoe, too. A black and white coordinated suit looks great.
