Types of Mens Suits
The types of suits are not all that complicated. The main thing you really need to know is that there are four main styles. All the others are just a mixed combination of the four. We have 2 Button Suits, 3 Button Suits, Double Breasted Suits & The Mandarin Suit.
- 2 Button Suit is a single breasted and is the most common. It works well on anybody type. Especially men with a rounder body type.
- 3 Button Suit is a single breasted that has a contemporary look to it and gives off a youthful image. This suit looks best on a slender man.
- Double Breasted Suit is usually a good choice for men on the taller side.
- The Mandarin Suit is the most unique of the four as it is influenced by more traditional eastern cultures. This style can come with many buttons or none at all.
Which style you choose is really a matter of personal preference. However keep in mind that each style will fit your body differently. If you are unsure which kind will fit you best I recommend trying on several styles to you and your wardrobe consultant/or tailor find the right fit for you.
